Start your first run
- Open the game on the homepage and wait for the RocketGames player.
- Select the game’s Play arrow. If a Controls panel appears, read it and select its Play arrow.
- Click inside the game so the browser sends keys to the player.
- Use WASD or the arrow keys to steer. Use Space or the left mouse button to fire.

Fly through openings
The fighter moves forward automatically. Your movement changes its position across the trench. Look for the open section of each approaching barrier, then line up before reaching it. Avoid treating every opening as a last-second turn.
Keep your attention ahead of the ship. There may be another obstacle just beyond the one you are passing. A smaller correction often leaves a better position for what follows.
Shoot while you steer
Firing is separate from movement, so you can steer and shoot together. Fire toward turrets and destructible defenses before they become an immediate problem. A safe path still comes first: do not hold a dangerous line simply to hit a target.
Restart X Trench Run after a collision
The GAME OVER screen shows the run’s score and a restart control. Choose restart to enter a fresh run, or the home icon to return to the game menu. The site’s Reload button resets the entire embedded player; use the game’s restart for ordinary attempts.
Playing X Trench Run on mobile or tablet
Rotate the device to landscape and give the player as much room as possible. Touch controls are supplied by RocketGames’ embedded build, so they may differ from keyboard instructions. This site does not draw a second joystick over the game. If the source player does not respond to touch, use a desktop keyboard or try the source link.
